Mobile phone buying considerations

It's time to change my phone after been using it for years. As i have made comparisons on few manufacturers touchscreen models such like IPhone, HTC, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, etc... and now, HTC has caught my attention with its two models for my further considerations - 'Desire' and 'Legend'. It seems both model's designs and features are more or less the same, and i think the last consideration will be the price... of course.

HTC Desire (Bravo) -
HTC Desire is one of the most impressive phones of all time. Despite being significantly cheaper than the iPhone, it can match or beat everything that the iPhone does. An Android smartphone with a fabulously responsive touchscreen, the Desire packs in a huge choice of apps, brilliant web browsing, one of the biggest and best screens ever, a good camera, a music player and GPS too. Add in a superfast processor, monster battery, WiFi and a 3.5mm headphone jack and you've got the perfect phone.

HTC Legend -
HTC Legend is a gorgeous compact touchscreen phone with a brushed alloy finish. It runs the latest Android 2.1 operating system, so there are loads of apps available from the Android market. It has all the usual smartphone features, including GPS, a music player, FM radio, 5 megapixel camera and fast internet access. It's also equipped with a fast processor, plenty of memory and good battery life. Definitely a hot phone!

Canon EOS 7D

After numbers of testing with my EOS 500D with most possible settings i could, i found some limitation on the camera in term of shooting speed restricted me to get a satisfied picture quality i wanted.  Nevertheless it's still a good camera for normal photo shooting but i intended to upgrade my model later to a higher performance model - EOS 7D. This model is come with 18 mega pixels sensor with 8 frames per second continuous shooting and it's kind of 'full weather' camera as it can be sustained in a snowy & freezing temperature environment. Here's the 7D's key features that caught my attention. Surely, i would sell my current model before getting 7D.

-18MP APS-C CMOS sensor
- 8 frames per second continuous shooting
- 1080p HD video recording with manual controls
- 3.0 inch Clear View II LCD screen with 920,000 dots
- 19-point AF system (all cross-type)
- 1.0x magnification and 100% coverage viewfinder
- Wireless flash control
- Environmental sealing

Easter Sunday & Ground Breaking Ceremony

Another new church building extension project is underway and i think it will begin in May. Moreover the existing Youth Center building and car park will be demolished and make way for the construction later on. I got up in early morning yesterday and grabbed my camera to church, toke some memory moments at the ground breaking ceremony and the building as well before it is gone later. The new 5 stories building will have bigger land size, larger than the first building (Menara Wesley) and the auditorium can accommodate at least 1500 and probably up to 2000 people i think.

That is the second church's extension project i ever witnessed since i was there in 1987. Church members and friends came and gone maybe was because of 'politics issues' and changing of pastors one after another taking charge of the church. Many new faces have joined the church for past 10 years and i think i can easily identify their faces which are these are existing or new. Sometimes, i'm just feeling bore when i came to the church, one of the reason is because of most of my old time friends already had left for other churches and i'm standing still here till now.

Well, i have no idea whether i will leave for other church one day just as my friends did and will leave it open, if there is a better one for me perhaps. God be guide and lead me through...
