Bon Odori Festival

It was a same old things with super crowd nearly 40,000 people were gathered at the Panasonic stadium last weekend for the Japanese ghost event. Needless to say parking was the most headache issue because of traffic jam surrounding areas and i got to parked my car far away from the stadium about 10 minutes walk. Well, still not too bad to have big  sausages and Asahi beer for light dinner before the culture dance show was begun at about 6.30pm.

The crowd was celebrating crazily and having fun dancing around the stage when some traditional Japanese music was started to play. I was trying to get some good angle for 'shooting' especially at the VIP but no luck as i couldn't find a way to 'snake-in' because of security reason. Anyway, still manage to get some pictures there somehow and also met some friends there for fun.

Belated birthday night

Although it was few days late to celebrate but it's still fine to have a simple gathering. Apart from meals, i think we had about 12 jugs with another 2 towers of beer and a bottle of red wine, and not forgetting the flame drinking... that was almost killing me. I was really glad that all my buddies and friends were there for my belated birthday and watching World Cup live. Unfortunately, my car was scratched twice while driving back before i reached home safely...

Special Moment With Simon Yam (任达华)

This special invited event was organized by Canon and held on last Monday night at GSC Pavilion cinema. Needless to say there's lot of almost-freaking DSLR kaki + Simon Yam (任达华) fans was there 'shooting' him like crazy. Beside that, every Canon DSLR holder is entitled for two movie screening vouchers to watch his award winning movie - "Echoes Of Rainbow (岁月神偷)".

Well... just too bad as i couldn't get any friends of mine to accompany that night at very last minute. Anyway, i was there just for the sake of shooting (although i'm not his fan) and free movie. Frankly, i don't used to watch drama movie normally but this one was seem ok somehow and i rated it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Easter Sunday & Ground Breaking Ceremony

Another new church building extension project is underway and i think it will begin in May. Moreover the existing Youth Center building and car park will be demolished and make way for the construction later on. I got up in early morning yesterday and grabbed my camera to church, toke some memory moments at the ground breaking ceremony and the building as well before it is gone later. The new 5 stories building will have bigger land size, larger than the first building (Menara Wesley) and the auditorium can accommodate at least 1500 and probably up to 2000 people i think.

That is the second church's extension project i ever witnessed since i was there in 1987. Church members and friends came and gone maybe was because of 'politics issues' and changing of pastors one after another taking charge of the church. Many new faces have joined the church for past 10 years and i think i can easily identify their faces which are these are existing or new. Sometimes, i'm just feeling bore when i came to the church, one of the reason is because of most of my old time friends already had left for other churches and i'm standing still here till now.

Well, i have no idea whether i will leave for other church one day just as my friends did and will leave it open, if there is a better one for me perhaps. God be guide and lead me through...

Hot Balloon Fiesta @ Putrajaya

There was pretty crowded with spectators in the early Sunday morning when i reached there. That was the only free day for me to be there for the final day of photo shooting indeed. But a bit of disappointing as there's not many hot balloons show up in the morning session. Some special designed balloons that i read it on newspaper were never there and also seen it on the newspapers. To make the thing worse, balloons setup arrangement seems not so organize while the setup gap between each other wasn't close and 'crowded' but the spectators. Moreover, the cloudy weather was another bad factor caused most pictures taken were not attracting but it's still acceptable anyway.

Well, I made a wrong decision on that day and
going back to Putrajaya again in late afternoon. It
was heavy rain when i drove there but not knowing same thing was happened there as well. Needless to say, the hot balloon fly-out session was forced to canceled due to bad weather condition and there's nothing i could take (shittt...) and also stuck in the car park for about half an hour before i could leave the place in peace. The good thing is, i made a right choice at least and went there in early  morning otherwise i might miss it again until next year.

Primary school's classmates reunion

It was a tiring day for me and my schedule was packed with things-to-do in Puchong such like fixing car sterling alignment in morning, viewing condos somewhere for my investment consideration and finally attended my primary schoolmates reunion in the evening.

Well, it was glad to see so many old faces classmates including my form teacher there with great feelings, and most of them still remember me just because i was one of naughty guy in class those were the days. As it was the first gathering we had, most common topics we chat are just like 'Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah' (today in history)... and it's fun with laugh. I was truly enjoyed myself there and hopes to keep it going from time to time.

Formula Drift Malaysia 2009

That was my first time watching drift cars racing after Formula 1 since 1997 in Sepang. I was invited by my buddy as her company is one of the co-sponsor for this event. I went with my friend and we spent almost entire day there for taking pictures at the drift cars and the racing queens / models. Well, it actually brought back my long-lost photographing hobby during teenage time with it's a nice experience using a Lumix DMC & Cannon DSLR cameras. Surely, the pictures quality is comparable between compact & DSLR cameras and we both were satisfied with the pictures we 'shoot' throughout the day.

Sandy Lam (林憶蓮) 09 KL Concert

Sandy Lam - the Diva is coming back to Malaysia again ever since i missed her small concert in Genting Highlands earlier. Her concert is crashing with Alan Tam-Hacken Lee concert on the same day itself, with the same location (outdoor stadium) and her concert was held at Putra indoor stadium. Imagine how bad the traffic could be as two groups of fans came from over the places.

This might be her first and the last time to be here and glad to catch her concert finally !

My pre-birthday night out celebration

It was my pre-birthday night out with buddies where i was brought to my friend's pub for drink last night. Well, the environment there i would say was completely different - like late 80's style with singers performing on stage singing all Chinese pop songs (walao ehh..my goodness !). A bit shocked to see that but that's ok and we were enjoyed being there anyway.

Needless to say, I had prepared any 'consequences' when the clock is reaching 12am as where we had two 'towers' of Carlsberg with another 20 bottles more. I was thinking if I could finish a 'tower' as everyone know I'm not a good drinker (shit man...). So i think the best way is to trying to 'hideout' and 'yiong yue' (in Cantonese, maintain drinking level) after it reached my level, think about 7-8 glass gua... Surely, I went for pee frequently (not vomitting la) to avoid unnecessary 'consequences' la :-p

"Ding Ding"... the clock has passed 12.00 AM - "Happy Birthday... ya, I'm getting older again and smarter !" (hehe..). I've received sms greeting from friends as some were not able to come and I replied sms, replied like mad and replied lots to my dear friend...so warm huh. It was about 2am when we finished the second 'tower' and it was time to say goodbye.

Well, i was trying to catch-up the second Euro2008 live match at home but i couldn't help it myself even though i wasn't drunk to continue watching before the TV is 'watching' me instead. That's it... i dropped my head on my lovely pillow finally...oh what a night ! (ZZzZzzZzz.....)
